Intro to Electronics
Designed for Inventgenuity Workshops
Winter 2012 - Spring 2013
This was my first time teaching a formal 'Intro to Electronics' class for kids. The first class we started out with Little Bits, making random circuits and then brush bots. The next three classes we focused on making these cardboard electronics activity...boards. The idea was simple, and not dissimilar to Little Bits, that there would be a variety of Inputs or Controls (clothes pins switches, potentiometers, pencil graphite resistance strips, etc) and Outputs (various kinds of LEDs, piezo discs, motors). The best part of the board though was that the kids could draw and take notes all over it. More photos and video forthcoming.
